Dickson Medical Associates is investing in providing enhanced surgical care to patients in the Dickson, TN area by investing in the construction of a new Ambulatory Surgery Center. The facility is located adjacent to DMA in Crestview Park on Highway 46 South. Our goal is to provide more options for patients seeking outpatient surgery.
Ambulatory surgery centers are health care facilities focused on providing same-day surgical care, including diagnostic and preventive procedures. Costs are often lower for insurance companies and patients for procedures performed at ambulatory surgery centers. Our overall goal is to offer local, high quality, and cost effective healthcare to the entire region. Constructing this surgery center is another way that we fulfill that goal.
Dickson
Surgery Center, which is planned with two floors and a basement, will
offer outpatient procedures including orthopedics, general surgery,
endoscopy, ear, nose, and throat procedures, urology, outpatient
vascular services, podiatry, and breast biopsies.
The center's groundbreaking is scheduled for May with an estimated opening date of summer next year.
