Dickson Medical Associates (DMA) Executive Director Christie Strong believes offering patients choices is important, and the future DMA ambulatory surgery center will give local residents a lower-cost, convenient option for outpatient procedures. Strong, along with several members of DMA’s newly formed Dickson Surgical Partners, gathered Thursday for the groundbreaking ceremony of the new ambulatory surgery center, located at DMA’s Crestview Drive campus.
Dickson Medical Associates is in the process of seeking approval from the city planning commission for a new Dickson Surgery Center. The facility, estimated to cost up to $9 million, would be located on the DMA property in Crestview Park on Highway 46 South.
Dickson Medical Associates is planning to open an outpatient surgery center in Dickson, Tenn., allowing patients to get outpatient surgeries without having to travel far, the Dickson Post reported March 17.
Dickson Medical Associates has formed Dickson Surgical Partners and plans to open an outpatient surgery center in the summer of 2023. The surgery center is planned for 123 Crestview Park Dr. in Dickson. DMA plans to break ground on the new facility in May.
